Lancashire Eatery Given One Star RatingMarch 16, 2014
A popular café in the centre of Bolton, Lancashire has been given a one star rating food hygiene by local council inspections.
Cappuccinos in the market place was found in need of ‘major improvement’ when inspectors visited in December 2013. Poor cleanliness and the lack of hot water supply to sinks and wash basins were the main concerns.
Previously the café had received a five star rating which the business had held since it opened in 1991.
Cappuccinos say they have now implemented the council’s recommendations and believe they will regain their five-star rating when they are next inspected.
