Hertfordshire Food Outlets Score Poorly In Food Hygiene Inspections

April 22, 2014

A number of Hertfordshire food outlets have been rated ‘zero’ in recent food hygiene inspections. The Food Standards Agency scheme gives ratings to eateries from 0 – 5. A score of zero means that urgent improvement is necessary. The following received the lowest possible rating:

  • K & S Caribbean Food, Unit 11, Wilbury Court, 29 Wilbury Way, Hitchin, SG4 0TW
  • Worker’s Cafe, Unit 19, Cam Centre, Wilbury Way, Hitchin, SG4 0TW
  • Rainbow Express, 8 High Street Royston, S71 4RA
  • Cheese Pizza, 112 Oaks Cross Stevenage Herts, SG2 8LU
  • The Red Fort, 84A High Street Stevenage Herts, SG1 3DW
  • Bhujon Indian Bengladeshi Takeaway, 12 Miswell Lane Tring Herts, HP23 4BX
  • Ocean Fish and Chips, 38 Frogmore Street, Tring, Herts, HP23 5AU

Inspections capture a specific point in time and food outlets can improve their food hygiene ratings following the inspection.
